Associate Attorney

Ann “Annie” Thomas grew up in Louisiana, where family wasn’t just important—it was everything. Her parents and grandparents taught her the power of strong relationships, a principle that fuels her work today.

Annie began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Anchorage, Alaska, prosecuting felonies such as sex crimes, domestic violence, theft, and assault. She strongly advocated for the victims of said crimes and helped guide them through the harsh realities they were left to face.

Now, as a family law attorney, Annie uses that same fire and tenacity to fight for her clients.  Annie focuses on domestic violence/protective order matters, divorce, child custody, child support, guardianship and peace order matters. Annie is empathetic and compassionate, and she is instrumental in helping families navigate their hardest moments while securing what’s most important.

In her free time, Annie likes to spend time with her family, her partner, Mark, and their cat.  You can also find her running around the National Mall in Washington, DC.
