At Rice Law, our team works tirelessly to provide clients with everything they need for any family law matter. Two of our Annapolis lawyers are litigators by trade (both former prosecutors) and one is a former Court of Appeals Law Clerk. Combined, we offer over 45 years of litigation experience. How We Prepare Ourselves & Our Clients

When we take on a new case, we spend a great deal of time talking with our client, listening to their goals, advising them about the law, and discussing strategy. We organize the file and all of the evidence, learn the facts inside and out, meet with witnesses, and consult with experts whenever needed. Our office prioritizes meeting with our clients and ensuring that they are always kept fully informed throughout the process, and we discuss the options available to them. We believe strongly that it is much better for a client to have a say in the final outcome than to leave the decisions up to a judge. However, if it does not seem like a settlement will be possible, we are prepared to take a case to trial and fight it ferociously.

We spend much of our time counseling our clients through the emotional turmoil they experience as a result of their case.
