We are excited to announce that Samantha Posner, a Partner at Rice Law, is now a certified Parenting Coordinator! Parenting Coordination is a non-confidential dispute resolution process designed to assist parents in reducing conflict experienced by children of separation and divorce.

The Parenting Coordination process combines assessment, education, case management, conflict resolution, and sometimes decision-making functions.  A Parenting Coordinator can either be appointed by a court order or private consent agreement to help parents implement, modify and/or comply with their parenting plan.

Parenting Coordinators are able to assist parents by providing strategies and protocol to manage conflict and communication. Parenting Coordinators can also collaborate with other professionals who are involved with the family, and they can facilitate referrals to third-party providers when necessary, in order to further assist parents and children.

If you are in need of a skilled Parenting Coordinator, or, to find out more about the process, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
